North Carolina has always Been the state I considered to be home. I’ve had the opportunity to work, play, and adventure in so many parts of this state and some of those experiences deserve their own time to shine.
The “From NC, With Love” series of posts will be where I detail my local NC excursions. From hidden gems to local favorites, I’m going to bring you all with me through North Carolina.
This week our local favorite is Videri Chocolate Factory.
Located in Raleigh NC, Videri has a walk through that allows customers to watch chocolate being made. The walk through area also has explanatory images and displays up that provide more context to the process you are able to watch. Samples are available and there are also a wide variety of options with the chocolate in them (icecream, coffee, candy, etc.)
There’s seating available inside and outside of the establishment. While there my family and I sat inside as well as outside. We tried a little of everything and my favorite was a honey latte I got at their in-house coffee bar. The espresso was flavorful and not at all bitter, which I loved.
Overall this is a cool hidden gem in Raleigh and a tasty pastime for anyone in the area looking to try new things with friends or family. There is ample space to sit and catch up with loved ones, but this would also be a place you could go to solo. The walkthrough is self guided, and going alone means being able to decide the pace you take.
